Emma Stokes

Emma has represented Bengeworth at Wychavon District Council for nearly two decades. Her enthusiasm and experience have been put to good use as Executive Board Member for Resident and Customer Services, a role in which she has overseen the new Abbey Park Water Play and the renovation of two award-winning accessible toilet blocks.

Emma lives in Bengeworth and can often be seen out and about in the area with her dog Bruce. She is a keen recycler and supports a local furniture charity, and was very pleased when the end of lockdown allowed the return of schemes to reuse and recycle unwanted items as well as restarting local litter picks.

Stan Brotherton

Stan, perhaps best known locally as a published local historian, is a qualified accountant (ACCA) who worked for many years as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and later for IBM. He is currently a financial controller for a national property developer. He was also treasurer and a founding trustee of the Evesham Abbey Trust (2015-18); helping secure the all-important initial HLF funding for this most special local project.

Stan is now seeking to join the town and district councils in order to put his wealth of knowledge and experience to good use as one of your councillors.
